Sulochana jokingly states that Purvi had adopted Archana's habit of forgetting things. Tej states that like Purvi, she too was like Archana. She tells Purvi that the other day Sulochana stated that she too was casual about injuries just like Archana. Sulochana gets emotional as both Purvi and Tejaswini had inculcated Archana's qualities. Archana enquires with Purvi whether she prepared the loan application papers. Purvi hands over the file to Archana. Archana hopes that their loan gets approved. During the presentation, Purvi confidently explains the objective of the project to the clients. However she gets distracted when she looks at Vinay. The client notices apprehension on Purvi's face and believes that Purvi was omitting important points from the presentation. The clients state that though they were interested in the project earlier they do not want to sign the deal after going through the presentation. Arjun requests the clients to give him another chance. While returning back to their office, Arjun and Purvi get stuck in the lift. Purvi apologizes to Arjun as he had lost the project due to her mistake. Arjun expresses concern for Purvi and makes it clear that he does not mind losing the deal. He believes that Purvi's efforts went in vain only because of Vinay's presence during the meeting. Purvi clarifies that she was not disappointed that she broke up with Vinay but was upset as Archana was hurt. She adds that Archana wanted her to settle down in a good family, but that did not happen. Arjun apologizes to Purvi and wipes her tears. Just then the elevator reaches the floor and automatically opens. Purnima notices Arjun wiping Purvi's tears. Arjun quickly leaves from the spot.
